The Floor Gallery supplied Winderen Engineered Wood in Herringbone format, Natural colour — specified directly by the end-user client to replace the property's original herringbone floor from when the house was first built. The Winderen Herringbone delivers heritage continuity: the format and tone match the original specification, while engineered construction handles the central heating, humidity range and underfloor heating that the original solid herringbone could not. Heritage authenticity in the visible material; modern dimensional stability in the substrate. Natural colour was chosen as the closest tonal match to the original aged oak finish without artificially distressing the new floor.
