Vermont Engineered Wood Flooring
Vermont Engineered Wood Flooring is the German-manufactured workhorse range The Floor Gallery specifies into commercial and high-specification residential projects. The Vermont collection is PEFC certified across the range. Wide-plank and herringbone (PD400 plank, PS500 herringbone) in greige, royal chestnut, oak harmonious and authentic finishes — engineered for dimensional stability across underfloor heating, varying humidity and high-traffic environments.
The wear layer is 3–4mm of solid oak depending on product, FSC chain-of-custody as standard, and finishes range from low-VOC lacquer to hard-wax oil. Format-differentiated products mean architects can specify a single material identity across feature spaces (PS500 herringbone in reception or meeting suites) and circulation (PD400 wide-plank), with colour and tone matched across formats.
The greige tonality has emerged as the most-specified colour direction for 2025–26 commercial fit-outs — soft, neutral, cool-leaning oak that reads as contemporary without being trend-locked. Royal chestnut sits at the warmer end of the same family and works well in hospitality and residential.
