About, The Floor Gallery
A UK flooring supplier built around the architect’s brief
The Floor Gallery is a UK supplier of cork, engineered wood and organic flooring to architects, specifiers and design-led residential projects. We were incorporated on 21 March 2018 and we work direct with the specifier team, no showroom intermediary, no minimum-order distributor, no reseller markup.
What we supply
Three categories, all chosen because they earn a place in an architect-grade specification on sustainability, performance and aesthetic.
Classic Cork & Cork Styles, premium cork ranges
Classic Cork is the UK’s leading waterproof cork specification with a verified Environmental Product Declaration of -101 kg CO2eq/m2. Bfl-s1 fire rating. FSC / PEFC chain of custody as standard. Available across architect-residential, hospitality, education, listed buildings and heritage interiors.
Winderen and Vermont engineered wood
Winderen carries a 500+ colour bank in European oak, herringbone, chevron, plank and parquet de Versailles. Vermont brings olive oak alongside for hospitality and luxury residential briefs. Both ranges ship with FSC / PEFC chain of custody and the full BREEAM Mat 03 evidence pack at quote stage.
Organic Collection, PVC-free
The Organic Collection is a PVC-free composite of castor oil, canola oil and chalk. Cradle to Cradle Bronze certified. Class 43 wear rating for commercial. Suited to projects looking for the durability of resilient flooring without the environmental footprint.
Who we work with
UK architecture and design practices we have supplied include HTA Design, Hawkins Brown, Sybarite, Studio KKD, Fathom Architects, Sagrada, BondBryan and Do Design. Recent named projects include 35 Grosvenor Street (Studio KKD), Pantechnicon Sachi (Sagrada), HTA Design’s own studio, The Waterman Farringdon (Fathom), Irene Forte Spa at The Balmoral (Do Design), Stirrups Hotel and The Clarendon residential development.
How we work
The specifier route at TFG is direct. Architects deal with our specifier team without a showroom intermediary or trade-rep layer. Materials advice, BREEAM Mat 03 evidence, sample dispatch, CPD scheduling and project delivery are coordinated by the same contact.
- 48-hour UK-wide sample delivery, up to 10 samples per project, no charge.
- BREEAM Mat 03 evidence pack routed with every specifier quote, not on request.
- FSC / PEFC chain of custody as standard on cork and engineered wood.
- Six free architect CPD sessions covering carbon-negative cork, BREEAM Mat 03, engineered wood selection, heritage/listed-building flooring, residential cork specification and supplier shortlisting.
- Direct provenance documentation, we tell you where every range is manufactured, by whom, and what the chain of custody looks like.
The people behind the floors
The Floor Gallery is a small, specialist team, and we like it that way. We supply cork, engineered wood and organic flooring directly to the architects, designers and design-led homes doing the specifying. No showroom, no middle layer.
We are hands-on, too. When we say we know where our cork comes from, we mean it, we take the people who specify it to the source.

Aaron Smith, Director. Heads the specification side: the architects, designers and project teams. If you have specified with us, you have spoken to Aaron.
Paul Speers, Director. Runs everything behind the scenes, supply, invoicing and the factory relationships that get the right floor to the right project.
Yijin Wang, Marketing Manager. Leads the brand and how our work is told.

And we are growing, a wider specification team now works alongside us, out with practices around the country and on high-end residential projects, so there is always someone close to your work.
Where we are based
The Floor Gallery is based in Farringdon, London, supplying UK-wide and into international specifier projects. Full provenance documentation is available with every quote.
