Industrial Parquet
The bold basketweave block floor, supplied unfinished, ready to stain to any colour.

Industrial parquet is the characterful block flooring made famous in factories, schools and warehouses, small solid timber blocks laid in tight basketweave and stacked patterns, now enjoying a quiet revival in homes, studios and design-led interiors.
Supplied unfinished
Its biggest advantage. Once laid, the floor is sanded smooth and finished on site, so you choose the exact look, stain it anywhere from white-washed and natural oak through to walnut, smoked grey or near-black, then seal with hard-wax oil or lacquer. Colour applied to bare wood gives a far more natural, bespoke finish than any pre-finished board.
The look and the wear
Each block is solid oak, grouped into squares that alternate direction to form the woven pattern, prime grade for a cleaner look, rustic for more character, tumbled for an aged edge. Solid blocks are exceptionally hard-wearing and can be re-sanded and refinished for decades rather than replaced, pairing beautifully with exposed brick, steel and concrete.
