Winderen Engineered Flooring is The Floor Gallery’s Portuguese-manufactured engineered wood collection — built for architects and specifiers who want oak’s character with the dimensional stability and format range of modern engineered construction. The 41 promoted colours sit on top of a 500+ colour bank, with all colours available in plank, herringbone or chevron format, in any width or thickness, plus a bespoke colour matching service for projects requiring specific tonal matches.
The range covers wide-plank and herringbone formats in oils, lacquers and brushed finishes, with FSC-certified European oak lamellas over multi-ply substrates. Wear-layer thicknesses are specifier-grade (typically 4–6mm), so floors can be sanded and re-finished multiple times across a 60–80 year service life.
Where Winderen earns its place in a specification: heritage-feel oak floors that need to hold up to commercial traffic, projects with strict moisture or underfloor-heating constraints, and design schemes where the colour and tone work needs to coordinate across formats.
