Havering Town Hall is a 1930s building refurbished by Hawkins\Brown as the consolidated operational hub for Havering Council. The Floor Gallery supplied Classic Cork Original Shell throughout the new and improved reception, customer service centre, and offices.
Cork was specified for the combination of biophilic warmth, acoustic absorption (meaningful in an open, agile working environment), low embodied carbon, and indoor air quality — ticking the practice's project-led sustainability goals while supporting the activity-based working layout central to the brief.
