Russell & Bromley By Shed Design

Organic Collection, Bright Three The Floor Gallery supplied Organic Collection in Bright Three for the Russell & Bromley store rollout, designed by Shed Design. The brand had previously specified LVT across the estate but wanted to move to a more sustainable option for the new rollout, knowing the initial cost would be higher. Organic was the answer: a PVC-free, plasticizer-free bio-based polyurethane composite (linoleum-style) with Class 43 commercial durability and an A+ VOC rating, designed for the high-traffic retail environment Russell & Bromley operates in. The brief change — LVT to Organic — reflects a wider shift in retail specification away from PVC. For brands where the floor reads as part of the customer experience and where sustainability commitments need to survive scrutiny, the up-front cost difference is increasingly outweighed by lifecycle, indoor air quality and end-of-life considerations.
