Winderen Engineered Wood, Herringbone format, Natural colour, rustic grade A small residential project in Hemel Hempstead with underfloor heating throughout. The Floor Gallery supplied Winderen Collection herringbone in Natural colour, rustic grade — a specification combining heritage herringbone format with the dimensional stability that engineered construction requires for UFH installations. The rustic grade was chosen for its more characterful grain, knot pattern and tonal variation, giving the floor lived-in warmth from day one rather than the cleaner appearance of a select grade. Engineered substrate handles the thermal cycling and humidity ranges that solid herringbone could not.
