Natural cork veneer + UV-cured polyurethane wear-layer + cork core + cork backing. Floating click profile or fully adhered (glue-down) install.
IIC 71
Closed-cell cork structure absorbs impact noise. Materially reduces footfall transmission across multi-occupancy floors compared to LVT (IIC 50-58) or oak parquet.
R10 / PTV 36+ on request
R9 (DIN 51130), PTV 36+ on request -- BS 5395 compliant for commercial stairs and high-traffic floors. ISO 22196 antibacterial-tested wear-layer.
27°C surface
UFH-compatible up to 27°C surface temperature. R-value 0.25 m²K/W per 7mm -- the floor reads warm without UFH; with UFH, hits temperature ~30% faster.

Carbon negative once balanced with carbon sequestration. The cork tree absorbs more CO&sub2; across its 9-year regenerative growth cycle than is emitted in cradle-to-gate manufacture. Net-negative GWP per the EPD.

The building-products distributor used by architects across UK construction specified Classic Cork on the staircase of their HQ. The brief was a workplace floor that signalled the company's sustainability story to every visitor coming through the front door, while delivering PTV 36+ pendulum (on request with additional finish) and IIC 71 acoustic.
