Klay London Residential - Cork Styles Original Shell (Artform + Scene Smith)
Klay London Residential — Cork Styles Original Shell (Artform Group + Scene Smith)
A premium London residential development by Artform Group with architects Scene Smith, specified in Cork Styles Original Shell across the apartment interiors. Cork chosen for the combination of biophilic warmth, acoustic performance under multi-tenant residential conditions, and the soft tonal identity that reads cleanly into the contemporary residential palette Artform and Scene Smith have built across their London portfolio.
Premium London residential is one of the most demanding flooring briefs on the UK market. The buyer is paying for material quality they can see, feel and live with, while the developer needs a floor specification that performs consistently across multiple apartments and reads as a defensible spec choice in a competitive comparison with neighbouring developments. For Klay, Artform Group and Scene Smith specified Cork Styles Original Shell — a 4mm glue-down cork tile with a soft, neutral tonal identity that anchors the apartment interiors without competing with the architecture.
